The Office of Military Commissions (OMC) and its affiliated organizations operate facilities in and around Washington, D.C., (the National Capital Region, or NCR) and at the U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Facilities in the National Capital Region include office space and related resources to ensure that all OMC and affiliated personnel have what they need to complete their mission.
Military commission facilities at U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay are designed to promote a fair trial for the accused, allow public access to military commissions and protect national security. OMC also provides logistical services to military commission participants to facilitate fair, transparent trials.
