General Public & Members of the Media

The Office of Military Commissions has set up a public viewing area and a victim/family member viewing area at the McGill Training Center at Fort Meade, MD in separate rooms. During unclassified military commissions sessions, McGill will be open for visitors unless Fort Meade has closed due to inclement weather or some other emergency condition. McGill Training Center is located at 8452 Zimborski Avenue, Fort Meade, MD 20755. When you enter the building, there should be signs indicating what rooms are set up for the CCTV feed for the public and VFM's, or you can ask at the front desk.

Effective 30 April 2018, the Media CCTV Site for Military Commissions will move from Smallwood Hall at Fort Meade, MD to McGill Training Center, Classroom 7, at Fort Meade, MD. The entrance to the Media CCTV site will be through the left rear of McGill Training Center, and there is a parking lot in the rear of the building which is accessible to the rear door.
