Transcripts of Hearings: For all active cases, draft, unofficial, unauthenticated transcripts of the public portions of case proceedings will be posted on the Office of Military Commissions’ website as soon as practicable after each day a military commission is in session. The draft, unofficial, unauthenticated transcripts are prepared by court stenographers who transcribe the audio, time delayed, public broadcast in order to avoid inclusion of any inadvertent utterances of classified or protected information. The purpose of the draft, unofficial, unauthenticated transcripts is to facilitate the public’s access to, and understanding of, military commissions. The draft, unofficial, unauthenticated transcripts may be revised in order to correct name spellings, punctuation, and other formatting issues.
